Library Funding
By raising funds, we help the library offer cutting-edge tools and programs that empower patrons of all ages—from state-of-the-art computers and digital resources to innovative educational workshops and classes. These investments allow the library to remain a vital resource for our community, equipping residents with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Fundraising also serves as a platform to spread awareness about the many valuable services the library provides. Through our campaigns, we showcase everything the library has to offer, from literacy programs and job search assistance to cultural events and family-friendly activities. By sharing these stories, we strengthen the bond between the library and the community it serves, ensuring continued support and participation.

Here are some of the things we have done for and with the New Port Richey Library:
- Provided a scholarship for a Librarian to pursue a higher college degree
- Purchased folding tables and stacking chairs for meeting rooms
- Purchased paint for the library
- Funded staff parties
- Paid for the 95th and 100th anniversary parties of the Library
- Purchased 3D printers for the Library
- Sponsored the installation of the permanent StoryWalk in the James E. Grey Preserve
- Purchase books for the StoryWalk
